For some reason, for me, it better have a good meaning in order for me to add it in my Teddy Bear Journal *blushes and grins*. I don't really just put down any nice sounding name, like Cecilia. Nice name but I don't like the meaning (blind). It has to have a strong meaning like "Noble" (Adelaide/Adelaida) "Ruler (Erik)

Just wondering, but are any people in this community very picky about name meanings as well?

i don't choose names based on meanings, but i do think meanings are interesting and can be important. i have a list of my favorite names and i looked up the meanings once and it's interesting how they fit together. for instance, i would love to have a boy first who would be a strong, protective big brother named ethan andrew. interestingly enough, ethan means: "firm, strong; solid, enduring" and andrew means: "manly, courageous". that's exactly what i want out of my firstborn son! :)
