middle names

am i the only one here who doen't have or doesn't think middle names are important? even if i had a middle name it would have just been my mom's maiden name nothing fancy or matching or anything. my name:emma lang is nice and short and i cant tell you how nice that was when doing all those sat like tests!

I would pretty much see no point (since I've never used mine for anything) except it gives me a way to kind of name my kids after relatives without them having to be called by the same name. first names are names I liked and what they will be called; middle names arte family names.

my maiden name is shorter than your last name :)
