middle names

am i the only one here who doen't have or doesn't think middle names are important? even if i had a middle name it would have just been my mom's maiden name nothing fancy or matching or anything. my name:emma lang is nice and short and i cant tell you how nice that was when doing all those sat like tests!

i like my middle name mainly because it's my grandmother's name, but if it wasn't, i probably wouldn't like that name, or like the concept as much. i think it's kind of tiring when everyone has the same middle name, like marie (nothing against the name...it's just a bit overused), so it's just kind of...something you have to throw in there instead of thinking of something creative.
i have the same first name as my mom, though, so middle names DO come in handy when filling out official documents.
