Current RP Characters - Riju/Ridge Waydrifter, Rishi, Shysie-Taima (shay-see), Cain Reaver

If I ever buy any children, they are so screwed when it comes to names.

They are getting medievil/native indian/inuit/elven names, or maybe just a normal word if I feel like it.
Oh, and it's getting Waydrifter as a middlename, girl or boy.
And it's bound to have hundreds of middle names as I don't have one.

And I hope to marry someone with an interesting surname.
As mine means 'Wallet or Bag maker, Celtic origin' or as a modern definition, Ooozing fat.

I shall change my surname to 'Fedaykin'.

So my spawn will more than likely be Tristram Waydrifter Fedaykin. Poor sod.

Oubliette would mean "little forgotten one" in French, I'd think.

yes; something to that extend. "oublier" is the verb to forget, and ette is a suffix that indicates something thats female, b/c french nouns, adjectives, etc. have genders.

please dont do cain and abel as twins. not only would they get ridiculed but you probably would too. and im a HUUUGE fan of biblical names, but thats too trite and its not a positive biblical reference, even if it is in the "holy book" and the "word of God" at least names like matthew, elijah, and nathaniel have positive meanings and connotations.

I'm pretty positive the girl from Land Before Time is spell Cera, instead of Sera, like triceratops :) Just incase you might like the Cera spelling better :)

Haha, that would be so cute as a nickname if you could find a "real" name to go with it :)

yeah, Oubliette is a pretty sad name for a little kid. And I have to say that I think Bunty justs sounds silly.
maybe you already knew this, but since you paired it with another "R" name I'm figuring maybe not... but Reiko is Japanese (I believe) and is originally meant to be prnounced like "Leiko"

Gah, and I was just joking by saying, "What next, Oublier?" when someone mentioned liking random french words for names.

Someone mentioned a while back, remember, it's a global society nowadays. Think of your reaction if you met someone named Forget, Open, Telephone, etc.

I've known a Keelin and a Fallon, neutral on both names. Seamus is one of my favorite names.

Cain and Abel? I do joke about naming a boy Abel (for my initials) and I hope you're joking, too.

Sera is pretty, but it reminds me of "will be" which is its French translation.

Like, il sera un homme.

But it's still nicer than Cera.

Haha, yeah, I actually like it though.
That isn't the actual etymology of the name, but it's still a really nice thing to believe.

It's a pretty thing to give to a child, I think.

I love Koda and Scout.

Scout just sounds like she'd be such an outgoing little girl. Reminds me of the book How to Kill a Mocking Bird.

Ridge is a lovely name. I'm all for naming things/characters/pets/kids after random words, or nouns.
My other fave is Seamus. That's my bro's name. Lol

Fallon is nice as well. I think its the name of a school book publishing company here in old Eireann. It's a surname, tho, in real life. I'll stop rambling now. XD

I personally love the word Raid. I have a character named that in a novel i'm writing (I posted a while ago about it here) and the word Jump. I don't know why. I just love it as a name.
Not that I'd ever use it on a person, but an animal it would be cute. Oh, and I have a Sim called Jump. That's almost a person, isn't it? Hehe.
And Kick the Cat is great. I had a kitten called Derek once. I had to give it away tho, me sister is allergic. :/

I ADORE the name Fallon for a girl! I've never met another person who liked it.

I also love the Scout and River.
