May. 2nd, 2007 12:29 pmI have forever loved the name Lexi, and however my boyfriend's (we are committed) last name is Lynch... I didnt want to name her Alexandra, Alexia, or anything because well, I like Lexi. But, I hate how Lexi Lynch sounds. I think Alexandra Lynch flows a little better. Should I go for Alexandra and just hope everyone calls her Lexi? (I was a camp counselor for many many years and most of the Alexandras I knew went by Lexi... so there's a chance! But I hate Alex!!! Which could happen just as easily)
How does the middle name michelle go with that?
We also like Nikki but I dont like nicole.. would it be okay to name a child Nikki or does it have to be Nicole? I dont know anyone whose name is just Nikki, haha
And just for the record, we love Hannah but cant think of a middle name. My dad's cousin has a daughter named Hannah though, we arent close or anything but they do visit on occasion... is that too close in the family to have the same name? She isnt MY cousin...
What do you think? Thank you!!!

I think it's fine for distant, rarely-seen cousins to have the same name. I kind of like Hannah Abigail, or Hannah Elizabeth. Anything that doesn't have an -a ending would probably work.
