(no subject)

Some more unique names that I've heard and really like...

-Addis (pronounced Add-Is...pretty simple.  I met a guy named that the other day, and I think it's quite nice)
-Riles (also a boy's name...but I think it's a nice alternative to Riley which is becoming quite trendy)
-Isadore (it was the name of my great-grandfather, but I think it makes a nice little girl's name...you could call her Izzy for short)
-Kyler (not sure how I feel about this one...but it is kinda unique.  I saw a little girl with the name)
-Willard (boy's name...I kinda like it better than old fashioned William)

and these are the names that my sister wants to name her children one day...

Girl: Roxy Rae
Boy: Skecher Riles

Yes...I realize they're brands of clothes...but they are kinda cute names :D

Totally influenced by Grey's Anatomy maybe, but I think Izzy is a really cute name =)
& Kyler...that reminds me of a girl I read about once, her name was Skyler!

I hope your sister grows out of that, seriously. To me, Roxy Rae is a good porn name, not so much regular name. I'm surprised you find William to be MORE old fashioned then Willard?? Interesting, what makes you think that way? :) Izzy is adorable, but definitely not Isadore. Riles..I could see as a possible nick name for Reily, but I'd never use it for an actual name. I prefer Tyler over Kyler, and Addis is not so bad :)

Rile is a verb that means "to irritate or vex" !

I like Isadora for a girl.

"Willard" reminds me of that rat movie with Crispin Glover in it. Perhaps because that's what the movie was called.

Don't force somebody into that.

Isadora was a fairly common name in the 30's and 20's (Isadora Duncan, anyone?), pronounced "aysadOra". the nickname possibilities are endless. My only problem with that name is that it's my cats name ;)
I've heard of Eesadora's and they all hate the long version of the name.
