I am no where near being pregnant or thinking about it but I have always loved picking out baby names. I want to name one of my girls Roma Marie or Maxine Marie and for a boy I love Julius James. What do you guys think of those? My grandmother who has since passed name was Roma Maxine and I was extremely close to her and want to honor her by naming one of my children after her.

I think it's sweet you want to have a child and name her for your grandmother. The names you chose are both pretty. I like both of them so it'd be hard for me to pick. I haven't heard the name Julius in years (I knew someone in middle school with the name) but it goes nicely with James as the middle name.

I think those are wonderful, especially since they have a lot of meaning!

I love Roma. Probably because I've got a daughter named Ramona with the nn Romy, which is similar. I just don't like the combination of Roma Marie that much because they sound too similar, especially if they're said fast. But then again, you won't be saying "Roma Marie" together that much. If you like it, go for it. Maxine is also very cute, as long as you don't let someone nickname her Maxi [like Maxi Pads]. lol...Julius James is very nice and uncommon as well.
