I'm eight months pregnant, and I absolutely love the name Amandine [a - man - deen]. It's French and has two meanings : "Who needs to be loved" and "Soul of the Andes".

What do y'all think?

I think it sounds beautiful. The only downside I can think of is that people will probably shorten it to the common 'Amanda' or 'Mandy'.
