Hi All! Im new here and couldn't wait to post my conundrum!

My husband and I are expecting in August (my 2nd, his 1st) and at our last ultrasound, I found out the sex but my husband didnt. So, discussing names has been a challenge.

I've been looking at a lot of Unisex names, but it's pretty hard. So far I have on the list:

Aiden
Asher
Bryce
Bryn
Carey
Darcy
Dillan
Keegan
Kieran
Kirby
Reilly
Regan
Rowan
Addison
Cassidy
Bailey
Eden
Jordan
Avery
Emerson
Perry

Does anyone have any other suggestions??

Middle names will be between -
Davies and Paley (for a boy - both family names)
Louise, Grace, Jennifer or Lilly (for a girl)

My oldest son is called Ethan Rhys.

Thanks!!

ooo I'm a big fan of unisex names, I like Dillan, Bryce, Addison and Regan from your list, for boys or girls. I also like Alex and Carmen as other unisex names.

I like Avery. Dont name your kid Aiden. Its waaaaaay too common now, even though it is a beautiful name. Its too common, and you shouldnt curse your child with an overly common name.

My name is Avery so I'm kinda fond of that one ;) I'm an Avery Nicole. I've heard of a lot of Avery Grace's lately, if you're looking for a different name you might now want to pair them together.

From your list for a girl: Darcy Grace, Eden Louise and Addison Louise.
For a boy: Bryce Paley and Jordan Davies.

Suggestions: Colby, Morgan, Drew, Spencer, Finley and Ronan. If you have an attachment to Rowan and have a girl, I like Rowena Grace/Lilly.

A lot of those names aren't actually unisex and could lead to confusion. For example, I have a friend named Jonah Shea, and she's female. But both of her names are traditionally male, and school was really hard for her because of that. She got teased mercilessly, and teachers were always confused on the first day of class when they found out that she wasn't actually a boy.

Personally I love the name Kieran for a boy, but I would spell it the traditional Irish way - Ciaran. Just my two cents though!

I know an Emery, sort of like Emerson.
I love the name Aiden, and Dillon for a girl is so cute.

Also Addison, but it reminds me of Grey's Anatomy, haha.

I like Bryce and Rowan.

My nephew is named Harper. I always thought of it as a girl's name, but it's listed as a unisex name. Congrats!

I love Keegan, but I'd spell it Keigan (but it's my cousin's name so i can't use it!).

I also love Emerson, and one of my favorite names ever is Harper, but I'd probably use it for a girl.

I really like all your names but two.

Aiden--I agree that it is way too common even though it is a cool name. All the permutations (Kaiden, Jaiden, Jayden, Ayden, et cetera) should probably be avoided as well. Aiden is the next Matt or Chris.

Kirby--A vaccum cleaner, and a famous Nintendo character. Your kid would be teased. It's as bad as naming him/her Hoover, Mario, or Donkey Kong.

You have fantastic taste in names. Best list I have seen so far.

My favourite unisex name you've chosen is Eden. There is a guy in Aussie media called Eden, and also Eden, a character from the TV show 'Heroes'. I just really like it.

Good luck for the birth of your little one. How precious! :)
