I have a little bundle of joy due in September. We've pretty much got the boy's name figured out...but we don't have a girl's name set in concrete yet. The thing is, my fiance is set on having Naomi somewhere in the name...if it's a girl, he wants to have part of her name be after his grandmother. Now, I'm not really a fan of that name and while I have a few names I really like: Amelia, Sophia, Eleanor, Grace...I'm not sure if they fit correctly with Naomi. Amelia might be the one that goes with it best.

I guess my question would be: what names do you think flow well with Naomi? I would prefer Naomi to be a middle name but I'm open to the possibility of it being a first name if it's properly paired.

I like Grace Naomi. Amelia Naomi looks funny together because they're mostly the same letters. I love the name Sophia but it doesn't really flow with Naomi, and I don't like Eleanor to begin with. But I do think Grace Naomi flows nicely.

I think Sophia Naomi sounds best to be honest.
I would probably use two middle names if one is a family name i'm not 100% sure on. Amelia Sophia Naomi, or Amelia Naomi Grace sound lovely :-)

I do think Naomi Grace does flow nicely, but you're the mommy, you shouldn't have to give her a name you don't even care for.

Well, I think that naming it after his grandmother would be nice, he respects her a lot and it would mean a lot to him. I just think I get kinda limited when he really wants it there.

Naomi Grace sounds very pretty.
Eleanor Naomi can sound great with the right last name.
Sophia Naomi is nice too.

I'm a fan of making meaning from a name... like, Naomi Sophia could roughly equate to "gentle wisdom". It might help when trying to decide.

my name's naomi, and my middle name's joy. my grandmother actually chipped in with my middle name because my parents couldn't think of one that fit well. i think naomi joy sounds kinda nice :) although a bit repetitive in meaning
