Hi there...I am 6 months pregnant and we are not finding the baby's sex out. I have played with the idea of a few names, but I'm particularly having trouble finding boys names I like. Our first son is Jayden Joshua. I like names that aren't incredibly popular, as my name is Amanda and I went all through school known as "Amanda P." I also don't want something so out there that my kid will get teased.
Some girl names I like are:
Layla
Eliza
Dusty (I have many people trying to talk me out of this one)
and for boys:
Jared (little too common though)
Anden (Andy for short)
Anyone have suggestions for me pleeeease? ;)

Jared is okay... but it makes me think of the Subway guy. ;)

Since your son's name is Jayden, I wouldn't go with Anden...too many "den" sounds.

Can't say I care for Dusty at all either. The name projects nothing feminine imo, and nothing too classy either. (sorry)

I fear that Layla is becoming a pretty faddish name. Eliza is kinda cute. I don't really like any of the boy names you listed... sorry!

My husband's name is Andrew, which is also a fairly common name, so needless to say, we like names that are "off the beaten path." Let's just hope the names we choose won't turn into an Aidan or Kylie and skyrocket after we name our children.
Good luck!

Dusty is fucking adorable. I like it.
I really like Layla but since all of your girl names end in 'a' they couldn't really be used as combinations of each other
how about:
Dusty Scarlett
Dusty Lenore (luh-nore)
Dusty Simone
Dusty Clementine
Layla Jane
Layla Cyrene (sigh-rene)
Layla Tatum
boys i only like jared.

Jared is ok. But if your first son is Jayden Joshua, then that's a lot of J's (in my opinion). I think Anden is cute and more original.

Or since Jared is common, maybe Jarrett for a boy?
I love the name Eliza =)
