my lists & questions

i am hoping to adopt a little girl in a few years. i've been planning this for a while (while saving money) so i've come up with quite a few names.

Girl Names: Bailey, Chandler, Colleen, Gabriella, Graciella, Jade, Leigh (my middle name), Leigha, Rosemary (after my S-I-L), Savannah, Taylor (which is great as a middle name -- it blends well with a lot of names), Zoe, Eden, Juliette, Peyton, Paige, Holly, Camden, Keegan, Corinne (after my great grandmother)

And I have a boy list too!
Elliott, Blake, Ethan, Vincent, Gavin, Jackson, Anthony (family name), Duncan, Roman

Several of the names are from different cultures, since I don't know what race my baby will be, and there are several Irish names (my background). And the family name Dugan has died off in my family, but i love the name. would that be weird for a boy's name?

PLEASE comment!

Dugan is an AWESOME name for a little boy- it it means anything to you, I say use it!

My opinions:

Bailey- I don't like it for a girl, sorry.
Chandler - Too Friends.
Colleen- It's alright, but it means "girl," which is somewhat boring.
Gabriella- Pretty but overused.
Graciella- LOVE THIS!
Jade- It makes me think of porn stars, sorry..
Leigh- Masculine to me.
Leigha- I like plain old Leah.
Rosemary- LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT! I'm worried it's getting popular. I'm 22 weeks pregnant, and if my baby is a girl she'll be Rosemary Elisabeth. :)
Savannah- Porn star name :(
Taylor- Pretty, but unisex.
Zoe- Love it.
Eden- LOVE IT! I love the combo Eden Zoe.
Juliette- Pretty!
Peyton- Don't like it on a girl.
Paige- Pretty.
Holly- 80's.
Camden- I live right outside of Camden, NJ- trust me, you do not want to name a child after that town.
Keegan- Masculine.
Corinne- Pretty! Rosemary Corinne, perhaps?
Elliott- Love it!
Blake- Love it. Considered it.
Ethan- Considered this for a boy as well.
Vincent- NMS but okay.
Gavin- Reminds me of Bush.
Jackson- Like it.
Anthony- This might be my baby's middle name, if it's a boy.
Duncan- Like it.
Roman- One of the top contenders (Adam won.)

We have a similar naming style! Good luck with adopting! :)

I love. . . for a girl: Leigh and Rosemary...I will say Eden is rapidly growing on me as I look at your list.
for a boy: I have always loved Vincent I feel this name is going to get popular and it makes me nervous. But I think it is just an awesome name. If my baby is a boy his name will be Vincent.

You may like. . . for a girl: Gracie, Scarlet, Anya, Bianca, Rosaline, Leah
. . . for a boy: Royce, Kyi, Harlan, Seth, Spencer

OMG your taste in names is like identical to mine!! I'm irish too and love irish names, and names that are a little unique but still blend in. :)
I'm so happy you like the name Keegan!! Thats my big brother's name, he's 17. I think its cute for a boy or a girl.
Please don't be offended but I don't like Graciella, it reminds me of a form of Cinderella or something. Thats the only name on your girl list I don't like.
Eden, Zoe, Colleen and Paige are soooo cute!!
I like all those boy names except Duncan and Roman.
And for Dugan, that could be really cute. I can picture a Dugan's mom in the crowds saying "GOOO DUGAN!!" :D

p.s. Your taste in names, a-w-e-s-o-m-e!!

Keegan is a boys name...yuk! But i like your other names. Maybe Keeliegh or Keela instead of Keegan?
