Pretty neat and even some popular names in there.
Thank you for sharing your list.
I have to warn you, I am in the business of child care and teaching and every Tristen I have known or heard about has been a difficult child.

Nikolé Austin - Much prefer Nicole. Not sure Nikolé with an accent even makes sense. Are you saying nih-COLE-ay? The masculine mn is not my thing, but could work.

Aubre Claire - Love Claire, but prefer it as a fn where it has more punch. It tends to sound like filler when stuck as the mn. Don't care for Aubre. Or Aubrey.

Hannah Adelaide - Hannah is popular, but this is a nice combo. Stay away from mn Grace if you can -- it's overdone.

Kaileigh Brooke - Very trendy sounding. Doesn't do a thing for me.

Madison James - eh. Madison is so common, and again the masculine mn.

Addison Bree-Dell - Not sure what to make of this one.

Abigail Grace - Don't care for either name.

Adeline Grace - Adeline is lovely, but Grace is dull.

Brooklyn Cole - Don't care for either name, again the masculine mn.

Cole Ashlin-Grace - Sounds like roll call with last name first: Cole, Ashlin Grace.

Ella-Marie Danielle - This is pretty.

Gary David - Not my style but fine. Gary would be original in his age group. Many would call it dated but I think it's nice enough.

Jake Austin - Common sounding

Kaleb Richard-Michael - Eh

Mason James - Ok

Bryghton Abram - The spelling is really bad. He'd have to spell that out for every single person he met his entire life.

Bryce Michael - Nms but fine.

Elijah Leigh - Fine, but I'm sure Lee is more accepted as the masculine version while Leigh is for females.

Gavin Xavier - Nice

Riley Jacob - Nice

Tristen Scott - I don't care for Tristan in any spelling because of the meaning, but do prefer the original -an.

I was wondering about the accent too.
I've never heard of anyone named Ni-cole-ay.
I've heard Nicoli and Nikolai. You know, for a boy.

I also don't like the "Y" in Brighton. If you're going to give a kid a "place name" you should at least spell it the correct way.
Addison, Madison, Austin and Brooklyn are all place names and you have those spelled the way they are for cities. Why would you change Brighton?

keep in mind i used to love my fair share of "unique" names for kids... until i had to name one of my own. then i tried to put myself in his place & how would i like having some off the wall name & being called it my whole entire life.
also, keep in mind, i love boys names for girls... to a point, if it's cute.

now...

Nikolé Austin: i'm not sure how you pronounce that, ni-co-lay? or like ni-co-lai? i've known many boys named austin, i do not think it's a cute name for a girl.
Aubre Claire: pronounced like aubrey?
Hannah Adelaide (or Hannah Grace): i like hannah grace.
Kaileigh Brooke: not bad.
Madison James: james is my son's middle name, my grandfather's name... i don't like it for a girl, i don't think it's cute at all.
Addison Bree-Dell: addison, son of addis? bree-dell? this screams "i'm going to get made fun of" =\
Abigail Grace: cute.
Adeline Grace: i'm torn on the name adeline.
Brooklyn Cole: i was thinking of naming my son Brooklyn if he was a girl. Cole, however, was my guy friend in 9th grade.
Cole Ashlin-Grace: again, the Cole thing. more on my friend, everyone teased him about the Colman camping company because his name was Cole. weird, i know. Ashlin-Grace... it's not bad, but i don't think you should hyphenate it. i think it's pretty as two middle names =)
Ella-Marie Danielle: again with the hyphen. i think it's pretty as Ella Marie Danielle.

Gary David: the name of my friend's son, he's soo cute.
Jake Austin: I'm not sure why you have Austin on your boy & girl list, do you really like the name? if so, use it.
Kaleb Richard-Michael: i don't like the name Caleb/Kaleb, i've heard of atleast 4-5 girls online i know using it in the past year. the only Caleb i ever knew was the biggest horses ass i've ever met.
Mason James: Mason reminds me of the jars because my grandmother uses them to can things, lol. but i don't think it's that bad of a name.
Bryghton Abram: askld. no.
Bryce Michael: i like that.
Elijah Leigh: at first i was a major ditz & thought that said "Levi" in which case i like it. but i like it either way, really.
Gavin Xavier: hmm. i'm not sure about this one, either. it's not bad.
Riley Jacob (or Riley James): i like the name riley. it's becoming more & more common as a girls name, which kind of sucks, becuase i think boys named Riley are cute.
Tristen Scott: i'm not sure about Tristen/Tristian. i like it, but i'm not sure if i'd personally use it. but it's not bad, it reminds me of brad pitt.

Well, that's understandable then. I love when names have some kind of sentimental meaning behind them.

Nikolé isn't bad. i just think it will be mispronounced a lot as plain Nicole, or as Ni-co-ley.

what's your name, if you don't mind me asking.

why didn't they name you EllaMarie Eunus-Lillian?

nothing against your parents, but isn't naming your child after all the relatives of that gender a little much? nothing against naming them after people, though. my son's two middle names are my grandfather's name (well, his first name & my last name used as a middle name).

but i don't get it in your case since your mom doesn't get along with your dad's mom. of course, it wasn't her who wanted to name you that. lol.

they should've gotten your SS card changed, just because they sometimes give you shit for having that different from your BC or your driver's lisence. my grandmom had that problem. she doesn't have a middle name, so when she got married, she started using her maiden name in place of a middle name. they gave her crap when she moved & had to provide a BC to get a new lisence.

I only really like Tristan off that list, it's top pick for a future son's name :) The rest are far too trendy for my taste. Normally I'm a fan of somewhat masculine names for girls, but I think some of those border extreme gender confusion :/

Well, being a mom involved with daycare, a member of like, 5 billion parenting boards/sites/ect, and have been running this community for..I can't even remember how long, I have a pretty good idea of what's trendy nowadays. Everyone's gonna know someone with some sort of name, it's just how it works :) But I don't think that's a very good validation system. There can be 50 million girls named James out there, but it's still going to sound like and remind everyone of a boys name. Some of the masculine names you listed were cute, just some were overboard, imo. Riley is still cute for a boy, I just wish super trendy mom's hadn't ruined it by making it *so* popular with girls. It's cute on a girl too, but it's just been spoiled for boys.

It's probably good if it's fixed now, and you get the other ones to be the same spelling. I know they are starting to tighten up some regulations (like airline security, making it more difficult to get a driver's license) and they can be really picky if the names don't all match. Hopefully you won't have any problems with it. You'd think they would ask how it's properly spelled, instead of just guessing :o/

I like your boy names more than your girl names. Ella-marie is very pretty.

LOL, almost every name is a place somewhere, and they aren't all spelled or pronounced the same. One really pretty place name around here is Ravenna, I've liked it since the day I passed the exit sign on the highway :o)

I also have a job where I have to write down people's names. I get so many looks when someone has a common name and I ask how to spell it, they act like I'm the one who's ignorant. Sorry, but there is more than one way to spell most names!

And Bryghton, granted it will be correcting people it won't be a large ordeal.

Don't count on that. I spell my name at least five times a day, and after 27 years it's not fun anymore.
