Naming Help
Sep. 4th, 2004 02:41 pmI'm early in my pregnancy, and my man and I are tossing around baby names.
Unfortunately, his last name is Bone, so it's hard to find a good baby name that won't draw too much ridicule.
For a boy, I'm thinking Gavin McLintock Bone. For some reason Mc- and Mac- middle names are appealing with such a short last name.
For girls, I'm really stuck. I like the names Ramona and Rosalynn. I actually like Ramona most, but "Ramona _____ Bone" may just be borrowing trouble. My man and i are pretty sure that the kids will get teased for their last name anyway, but there's no reason for us to make it harder on them.
So, for girls, I still like Ramona Jewel (after a friend and my mother) and Rosalynn Belle (after my grandmother's middle name).
Any suggestions would be welcome!

Date: 2004-09-05 04:00 pm (UTC)To be honest, Bone isn't bad at all compared to other last names I've heard!!
In my opinion, Ramona doesn't flow too well with Bone.
Good luck!
