The spelling is tricky, but it's the traditional spelling, and I think it's one of the few instances when the weirder spelling is the better!! Lovely name.

I think the name is alright...

My parents also loved the name...but hated the spelling. Hence spelling my name Shavone. It is pronounced the same, but many people over pronounce the o.
