Virtue Names

"Virtue" names used to be popular in the early days of America and (with the exception of Grace and Felicity) are declining in popularity. What do you guys think of these names? Which names do you like?

I think Precious is not a virtue, but an adjective.

In my family we have the name Return. I also used to like Promise, but not anymore.

Yeah, I hesitated to include it, but thought, why not?

In my family we have the name Fortune. It was first a family name, then handed down to a few poor boys and girls.

I ALMOST love Clementine, but I can't get completely past "Oh my darling..." and the horrible nickname CLEMMY.

Clement is my father's name and he hates it. And hate is an understatement.

I've always liked the name Patience.

I like: Bliss, Charity, Chastity, Clementine, Faith, Felicity (wanted to name my first daughter that), Grace (my first daughter's middle name IS grace), Harmony (wanted to name second daughter that, first daughter's name is Melody..so it'd go together..), Hope (My middle name, and I love it), Joy, Liberty, Precious, and Prudence.

I like Faith, Felicity, Grace (family name- Grandma's middle), Hope.

Wrestling might be in reference to the Bible- when God renamed Jacob Israel, which means "wrestles with God".
