I know the "ayden" names are the most populare right now, but just how populare is Cayden? I really like this name, but if I ever used for a future son, I'd use it as a middle name.

Also, thoughts on Brooklyn Haley? I was at Subway the other day and the wall paper has pictures of different parts of NYC (as I'm sure anyone who goes to Subway knows). I saw Brooklyn up there and asked my boyfriend what he though of that as a name (just out of pure curiosity). Seems he really likes it, with the mn Haley. I think it sounds kind of cute, only thing is I use to own a rat named Brooklyn... :/

Cayden (along with all of the other spellings) is pretty popular right now. Not as popular as Aiden, but its up there.

I don't like city names as people names personally. Brooklyn is gaining popularity very quickly right now though.

Cayden? Caiden, Caden, Kaiden, Kaden, and every other permutation is sooo tryndee right now.

So is Brooklyn. It is also trashy and tacky.

I know the most adorable little girl named Brooklyn Amaya. They call her Brooke for short. I like the name.

Yep Cayden is pretty popular. But I believe in going what you fall in love with. If you fell in love with it, use it - especially if it's just a middle name.

I am originally from Brooklyn so I don't find it as "trashy" as most people do. But if you do pick the name, some people may not like it. It's also becoming a "trendy" name.

As everyone said it's extremely trendy, plus it reminds me of my old coworker's last name, Cayton. Meh. :/

Brooklyn is the name of David and Victoria Beckham's first son. I think he was called that because he was conceived there.

I prefer it for a girl, but not that mad on it either way.

Anything ending in -aden is trendy right now, and Cadence is popular for girls. But if you love it, go ahead and use it.

Brooklyn? Eh. It's a little tacky, especially if the place doesn't have a specific personal meaning, but not horrible.

So many y's...

Brooklyn and Haley are fine on their own, but both are VERY trendy right now, so I would caution using them on one child. It would be like being named Jennifer Tiffany--that SCREAMS '80s. She might want something more traditional to fall back on in later life. Why not Brooklyn Kate or Haley Catherine, etc?

When I first heard of the name Cayden (including alternate spellings...I like the spelling "Kaiden" or "Caiden" the best) I liked it and thought it was a little unique without being overly weird-sounding. But after spending time on the Internet and watching all the birth shows on TV, I saw that it was a lot more popular then I originally thought. So I nixed it as a possible boys name because I am trying to stay away from overly popular names. I think that it would be great as a middle name though!
As for Brooklyn, I also see around the Internet, that it is quite a popular name as well. But, I am not too fond of Haley (I'm sorry) I was just never a fan of the whole Haley, Hallie, Kaylie, Kallie, etc. name trend.

I HATE Brooklyn. So tacky and trashy and trendy.

Cayden is just as popular as all the other -ayden names. I have a baby cousin (he's about to turn one) named Caiden and have heard of several others (mixed in with Jaydens and Aidens)

I HATE how people are so RUDE. trashy and tacky, my god, what a response.

"Caden" has been around for a long time, Im in my twenties and I have friends named Caden and Cade, I would call that an older name IMO. Different spellings keep it the same name really, Cade is cute IMO but Im not a big fan of "caden" as Im not 'den" fan as much as a "ber" fan. :)
