Personally, i adore the name "jade".. even though i wouldn't spell it "jayde" for my children, i still don't think it's bad.
But anyways, i see lots of "Y" endings being changed to "ie".. it's not a huge deal anymore. I also don't consider it being unique either, it's been done WAY to many times to be considered unique. (No matter what the name in question is)
Cassidy and Jade are terrible without kr8ive spellings but that just makes them so much worse. Jade would have been okay in the middle spot if Cassidy had been Cassandra or Cassia but I suppose that would be asking too much of some mothers.

Cassidy Jade is nice, has a good flow (like you say), if you like Jade, which I just cannot get it up for.
