Does Kyleigh/Kyley sound hickish?
How about Carley/Carly?

One of my good friends is named Karlee and I love the name and spelling.

Carly is such a stripper name in my opinion

Karli, Carly, etc is the one name that makes my stomach turn.

Kyleigh however, I like for some reason. It's very light sounding. I also love -leigh names.

I think the R in Carly makes it sound so harsh. But also I am biased because I've met like 5 girls with some variation of the Karli name, and frankly they were whores (two in fact for a living). Also I remember when I was little one of the "bitch" characters on my mother's soap opera's name was Carly.

Also when I think of Kyleigh, I think of Kylie Minogue, and she is far from a hick :) When I think of hick names I think of names like "Bobbi Jo". I really do like -leigh tho, even if its used as a middle name.

I don't know about hickish, but I don't think they're very classy. For some reason, Carla sounds much nicer than Carly. I'd also favour the spelling 'Kylie'.

Kyleigh reminds me of Kaleigh and all the other trendy names of that sort. Kyley looks weird to me for some reason. It also doesn't seem to me to be a name that would transfer well into adulthood.

All the Carly/Carla 's I've know have been total bitches lol.. so for me it's a bad name association.

I don't think Kyley feels hickish, but I do think it feels trendy and made up. I do like Carly.

I think names truly reflect personal association among individuals. If you knew a bratty person named whatever then youd hate that name, if you knew a stripper named whatever you may not like that name... etc.

I didnt care for the name Karly/Carly I wouldnt have picked that for my child but my next door neighbors had a baby and they named her Karly and I now Nanny for her everyday and I have fallen in love with her and her name. Its a beautiful name that reflects her beauty both inside and out.

Theres my little piece of wisdom.lol

I think of stripper too, or a druggie.

Not hickish at all to me, maybe Carly, but not really. I really hate Carl so adding a y just makes it seem wrong, and I do think of a stripper/druggie. And the Kyley's are more on the cutesy-barfy popular trend (fun with spelling) kind of names. In essense I think they sound ok. But what I think of and how they look just make me dislike them.

Kyley and all it's horrid variations doesn't sound hickish, it sounds juvenile and babyish. I can't picture it on a grown woman. Only a child. Yuck, hate it.

Carley... well I have horrible personal connotations with that name so... blah.

I like Kyleigh (or spelled Kylie or even Kiley) more than Carly. Carly has bad associations for me and makes me think of cars.

Not really 'hickish' but trashy as in stripperish. Your spellings of Kylee make me cringe.

Well you never know with spellings these days =)

I've just seen a lot of K's and ee endings, moreso of girls that are in grade school now, so a bit older trend maybe. But I think they sound good. I don't like the names because I only see one type of person in my head when I hear the name, and I don't like limiting or the possibility of limiting who the child is by their name, if that makes any sense.

Kylie makes the most sense to me since it's probably a form of Kyle.

I like Carly, and Kyleigh is okay too but I can't find a spelling of it that doesn't look weird to me.

Carly and its variations aren't too bad, and neither is Kyleigh, though I do prefer Kylie as a spelling. The only thing that bothers me is that people think that that's my name.

Don't like those names at all, but they aren't hickish. I know hickish names cos I'm from hickland, hehe.

I think of both as stripper names...
And I hate the spellings Kyleigh/Kylee - Kylie is much better.
