I looked up the meaning and it's Native American in origin and means golden eagle. I like the meaning, but dunno about the name. Depends on pronunciation I guess.
I don't mean that it's specifically for PETA, but unless it's pronounced peh-tah, the association is undeniably strong. It would be like naming your kid Kodac and being surprised when people relate it to Kodak. And if it IS pronounced peh-tah...well...ick. I don't like it either way.
