Puppy Name!

My husband and I are adopting a new puppy.


The black one is our puppy! She's a little girl

We already have one dog named Cooky. (Yeah, I know but I was 13 when I got her and my last name was Cook so I thought I was being clever by just adding a "y" and naming her Cooky Cook. That's Cooky in the icon.)
We probably won't name her FOR SURE until we actually meet her. We get her on Friday. WOO!!!
Anyway, suggestions we've been given so far:

Zelda
Princess Peach
Sheila
Sophie
Miriam
Milk (so we'd have Milk and Cooky, heh)
Leslie
Cutie-pie

My husband has the final decision and doesn't like any of these so anything you guys suggest would be great.
P.S. He likes video games a lot.

I like Sophie best, and I also thought of Mari/Marie when I saw her. What a sweetheart. Sophie is perfect for her.

She's so adorable! I don't think any of those names strike me as puppy names... I like Sophie kinda and Princess Peach, although I don't think it works with your pup in particular. What about Zeldi instead of Zelda? Still going along the video game line... I'm having a hard time with this one, but what a cute puppy!

I'm no good in the naming department. My husband and I had our dog for at least a month before we settled on naming him Milton heh.

They are Miniature Pinschers. My friend has three! He bred his youngest one this year. I'm so glad we get to get one!

If your husband's a particularly big Legend of Zelda fan, you could suggest Marin, Ruto, Saria, Navi, Malon...

We're not going to name her until we meet her. We're just getting a short list of what we like. We'll do the same sort of thing when we have human babies. I don't understand how anyone can pick a name for someone they've never seen.

She's so tiny! How about going with a kind of cookie, like Snickerdoodle (or just Doodle, thats cute!) or Gingersnap or something shorter. LOL I can't think.
