Jan. 14th, 2007 08:28 pmHey, I'm new here! My name is Rachel and I have a daughter, Cressa. (Just thought I'd add that in since it's a name place :) I'm definitely going to be a mommy again someday and lately I've been wanting one badly! But, not yet, so for now I am left to daydream about it. Names are the best part of daydreaming about kids, in my opinion. I love what the mean and how they sound and everything. When I was preggo with Cressa we picked out boy and girl names and I've found boy names are so much harder to deal with! I really want something unique but not too creative, it really needs to work in practice not just sound cool, yah know? Anyway, I've come up with two boy names that I like...
Joshua Alexander or Isaac Alexander
What do you guys think? And if you have any boy names that you particularly like, please let me know! I'm constantly looking, and boy names are so hard! I'd appreciate it so much!
Now, I really hope I end up having a boy, I've always wanted one, but yah never know so, my hubby and I have decided on the name Sophia. But we have no idea what the middle name would be, we can't agree on anything. I like Sophia Danielle. Any ideas? Also, I'm not sure about the spelling. I think I like Sophia better, but Sofia is pretty too, and I love cursive "f's" and it's the French spelling which I love too. Hmmm, now I'm wondering what the name means. That's really important to me. I don't think I even know what the boys names mean. I'll have to look that up now.
Thanks for any and all input!

Date: 2007-01-15 02:07 am (UTC)I am not particularly partial to Danielle, I like it because of Ever After (the movie) and the fact that I think it sounds nice with Sophia. I can't figure out what would be a good middle name with it!
And Cressa was something that just popped into my head one day during class. I was playing around with the name Tess, as I liked it in essence but it wasn't quite right. Then I looked it up online, found out it was Greek, which I love, and that it means "the golden one" which really fits her perfectly.
Thanks for the input! You gave me a lot more to think about :)
