I just noticed that the actress who plays Bridget in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is named Blake. I know a lot of people don't like the boys' names for girls trend, and that's fine. I usually just decide based on the individual name. For those who do like boys' names on girls, what do you think about Blake? That's one I haven't come across before.

I don't really like it.

But at an old message board I used to belong to there was a woman with a daughter named Blake. I really hated it at first, but I got used to it. She was a really pretty girl with dark brown hair but light blue eyes.

I still think Blake is a much nicer boy's name though.

i love a lot of boy names for girls, like Noah and Jonah.
But I can see Blake being kind of a plain name, that would need a striking look/personality to brighten it up. You know? Like Blaire.

I like some boy's names for girls, but Blake is a little too masculine-sounding for me.
