What do you guys think of the name Rome for a boy? It has grown on me and I just wanted to know what others thought.

This is not like me at all but I actually prefer Rome over Roman. That is because Roman sounds like you're describing the nationality of that person, which is stupid whether he actually is Roman or not. But Rome sounds like he's named after the place.

I don't really like it that much really. Roma or Romy on girls are ok.. but I'm not big on place names unless maybe Rome happens to be a big part of your family heritage
