Name a boy and girls name that you love, but arent thrilled about liking.

My example:
I hate to admit that I love the whole -aden name craze. My favorite is Brayden.
I also enjoy the girl names Teagan and Diem.

I hate admitting that I like the name Aidan (I hate the other -den names, but that one I love) and I also hate admitting that I like the name Jordan for a girl (although I hate all other boy-names-used-as-girl-names)

Hahaha, I used to HATE the name Madison but the past few weeks I haven't hated it nearly as much as I used to. Not enough that I'd ever use it, but I don't despise it like I once did, haha.

I like the girl's name Tracy, but it comes in for a lot of stick in the UK and I'd never saddle my child with the name for that reason. Without wishing to sound like a snob, the names Sharon and Tracy in the 80s and 90s became bywords for people lacking in class.

I love the boy's name Gideon and I think there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. I'm just sad that that's my favourite boy's name, as I really doubt I could give it to a child. There are so few Gideons and the main association is probably with the Bible society. Perhaps that association is dying out now, though, and I can call my child Gideon in a decade or so when I get round to having kids.

Boy name, I can't think of, I don't really have any guilty pleasures, nor do I feel particularly badly about liking -aden names.

Girl, though...Cheyenne. I know, it sounds so trashy, but I absolutely love it. I think it's so, so pretty.

Whenever I think of the name Gideon, the first thing that comes to mind is Arthurian legend and stuff like that - I'm not sure why, I don't even know if there was a Gideon involved.

I absolutely love Caiden. It's been on my short list for like 6 years now. I'll never use it though, because of the popularity. Same with Olivia. I also love the name Jolene but I get odd looks over that one, too. I'll probably end up using it as a middle name regardless. :)

Hmmm. I decided that I don't hate Cassidy for a girl, which is awful as it's the kind of name I hate (sounds like it should be a surname, sounds too masculine, is pretty trendy...).

I also have a slight weakness for the names Forrest, Rivers, and Devon, none of which I would use because they're all a bit ridiculous.

Well, I love the name Zorianna [hence the username], but I'll most likely never use it because I get weird looks everytime I say it to someone. But I really really love it.

I quite like Jaden :| I also love Chloe, which tends to be associated with a particular class of girl in the UK, and it's become very popular. My husband won't allow me to use it, luckily.

I love Atticus. But everyone assumes it's because I'm trying to be literary or whatever so it wouldn't be worth using for the flack I would get. I just really like the sound of the name, could care less that it's in a book.

I loved the name Aiden until it was totally consumed by popular demand.

Im also a big stickler for really Irish/Scottish names like Seamus, Malachai and Fergus but the hubby isnt as adventerous as I am.

As for girls names, I love Lillian and Ada but theyre rather overused now.

I really love the name Taylor for a girl, but it's just so horrid. I feel horrid, but every time I hear it I think 'Taylor-trailer-trash' in this tragic little sing-song way in my mind.

As for boys, I love John. I love how it goes into Jack, and I have really happy memories and feelings associated with the name (nothing rude, childhood happy). But I can't suggest it because it just seems so very boring, and there are a million Jacks anyway and at the end of the day I really don't like J names.
