Girl's Names

I am just barely pregrant, so I have lots of time. But hey, its never too early to think up names! Hands down my favorite boy's name is Jared. I've wanted a Jared for years. So if we have a boy that'll probably be his name. However, I'm not so sure about girl names. I want something pretty common that people would be able to spell and pronouce easily. With that said here's some names that have stood out for me.
Oh, and our last name is Webb and I have no idea about middle names.

Julie (Julia)

Kiara (pronouced Key-ar-ra)
Natalie (we wont choose this one because my husband is very opossed to it, but I still like it)

So, Adara and Kiara are a little on the exiotic side. And Riley and Taylor would probably get mixed up as a boys name a lot and I don't like that so much. I have noticed I tend to like names that end in an "ra" or a "ey" sound.

Any similar names I haven't see yet that you know about?

When I see Alexis I tend to thing of a boy.

Kiara sounds like an exotic dancer to me. I know, I know...it's just what pops into my mind.

My favorite combos are Hailey, Kelsey and Chelsea all paired with Olivia.

I LOVE Adara! Love it.
It was my number one girls' name until my fiance deep sixed it.
Oh well I deep sixed his favourite too (Mirah, and not to be spiteful, I just don't like it).

Adara - ok
Alexis - has always seemed a little trashy to me, maybe because of Dynasty. I also think Sexy Lexi is an awful name for a young girl.
Cassy - Cassie, as a nn for Cassandra or something is nice. Cassy looks like Gassy.
Chelsea - Ok. I've never met a Chelsea I liked though.
Hailey - One of the dime-a-dozen trendy names. Just blah.
Julie (Julia) - Julia is really lovely. A bit too popular for my taste, but it's nice.
Kelsey - Ditto Hailey
Kira - Ok.
Kiara - I find all the K names kind of bland, honestly. (Kayla, Kila, Keira, Kiley, Kayleigh, Kira, Kelsi, Kaitlyn, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah... they all start sounding alike)
Natalie - Will probably always make me think of the fat girl on Facts of Life.
Olivia - Too common but ok
Riley - Ditto Kelsey and Hailey.
Taylor - eh.

hahaha, my husband's sister's name is Tara Webb. Funny though.

He doesn't like Natalie because his name is Nathan and people used to tease him about Natalie being his feminane name. So it left a bad taste in his mouth.

I agree that Olivia is too common. I was looking on the top ten list of names for US babies this year and Olivia is #3. Yeah, too common for me.

If your husband doesn't like Natalie for a first name then what about middle name? Personally I think Kira Natalie Webb is beautiful.
