there is this mother who I talk to at my daughter's school who has a son named Gabi (pronounced Gabby) it's short for Gabriel, and she was surprised that I knew that. I love Gabriel for a boy, my husband does too, he's 1/2 Jewish so we thought it would fit this baby if it's a boy.

I love both those names! I used to babysit for a little boy named Gabriel, and a girl named Madeline (she was my favorite kid I babysat. Shh! Don't tell the others!). They weren't siblings... they lived accross the street from one another. But I associate all the kids' names together.
