Election Judging

So I was an election judge yesterday (which I find so fun and so patriotically rewarding, lol) and the best part of it (besides the great food that candidates bring us) is seeing everyone's names. The last names are even fun! We had mostly "normal" names, and then a few less normal ones, lol.

- Lalaquiesha (la-la-kwee-shuh) (f)
- Broc (rhymes with lock) (m)
- Maynird
- Dev (f)
- Minn (f)

(Of the above, I like Broc, but I would spell it with the K at the end if I were to use it at all, which I probably wouldn't, just because of my association with it - Titanic. I love Titanic and the character is fine and all, and I like Bill Paxton [even though he is affectionately one of my top two worst actors] but the association is just really strong to me. In a good day, but yet too strong.)


In our down times I was starting a new story and many of the last names on my character list were right out of the book! lol
