[identity profile] dead-fragility.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
*Le sigh* Who ever thought choosing a baby name could be so overwhelming.
Alright. So I am due August 27th with my first child. My fiance and I have already made a definate decision for the babys name if it is a boy [we wont know until April 7th].
I have a couple ideas if the baby is girl...but the girls name has pretty much been left completely up to me, so I am very stumped and overwhelmed all at the same time.

If the baby is a boy we are going to name him John Rodney Jacob. [I know, two middle names, who woulda thunk?] John, after the babys father, Rodney, after MY father, and Jacob because its just so dern cute. We have pretty much decided to call the baby Jacob, however, for there are far too many John's in the family.

If it is a girl I am using the middle name Nicole [no choice. I HAVE to have that as the middle name.]
So my list so far is:
Arianna Nicole
Victoria Nicole
Lily-Ana [Lily Ahh-na ^^] Nicole
Lexy Nicole
Chloe Nicole
Ivy Nicole

My first born is named Ariana (one N) and just a forwarning, the name has jumped in popularity leaps and bounds since 2003. Not in top 100 in 2002, and HUGELY popular 2003 and since.

I like Lexy and Ivy.

Arianna Nicole has a very pretty sound to it!

Victoria Nicole is my favorite from your list.

Lily-Ana Nicole is so nice but I'm not to sure if I like the hyphen. It's a great name though!

I don't like Lexy Nicole because, to me, it sounds like a stripper.

Chloe Nicole is probably the one I would choose.

Ivy Nicole is nice, I'm not sure how I feel about
Ivy for a first name.

I like those names :) I had considered the name Chloe Nicole as well! I also like Lily-Ana, but I personally like the spelling Liliana better. I think if you spell it like that less people would call her "Lily Anna."

Lily-Ana [Lily Ahh-na ^^] Nicole- this one is my favourite... but i agree w/kaiteigh = Liliana is proabably a better choice for pronunciation

I'm just going to vote for Lily-Ana Nicole simply because Liliana is my absolute favorite name for a girl ever.

Which leads me to my next opinion- I agree with the afore mentioned comments on the spelling Liliana as opposed to Lily-Ana, both for looks and for pronounciation. Although Lilyana looks nice without the hyphen too.

xoxoxo Michelle

I like Ariana (one N) and Ivy. I also like Lexy, but more as a nick name.
What about Alexis or Alexa, nick names Lexi or Lexy?
