I know 2 Camilles and both say Ca-MEAL, with slightly less enunciation on the two sounds in meal. It's one syllable for certain.

In French it would be more like ca-MEE-yuh. Very little 'uh' sound on the end because it's a double l. ca-MEE would be 'Camil.'

I actually like both the French and English pronounciations.

Anne-Severine is so pretty. Although Severine was the name of the Catherine Deneuve character in Belle de Jour, so...there's an association I couldn't get past to use the name ;) (Great movie though.)
