Hi everyone! I'm new here. I just found out that I'm 6.5 weeks pregnant, and my husband and I have had names picked out for months now. We've decided to go with names that are important to us. For instance, should I have a girl [which is what i'm hoping], she will be Lynda Guadalupe, named after both of our grandmothers. Should this baby be a boy, he will be John Gonzalo, for both of our dads. The problem will be, though, if we have more kids, it'll be hard to pick names. Well, then. I guess that's it. Anyone have any suggestions?

What if you are carrying twins?

You could always give them different variations of the names. Like John could be Sean, which is John in Irish I believe. After Lynda you could use Lindsey which sort of sounds like Lynda but is still different.

Are there other family names you could use; Aunts, Uncles, Brothers, Sisters etc?

Well that's good to know, it's so comforting to have an ultrasound so you can not have that big surprise at the end. :-) There's no twins on either side of the family either, but it could still happen. the odds are lower though. I'm glad to see you here on the board. Welcome.
