Tonight I was watching Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders. I know great show to name your kids off of.. lol But I heard three names on there that rekindled my love for them..but I have some questions

What do you think of Brooke?

i'm a megan. plain and simple. i think the extra letters are unnecessary...

[i've had my name spelled these ways on mail/school announcements/etc] so annoying. please don't honestly consider anything aside from megan/meagan... the H esp bothers me... silent Hs are stupid.

also, all the margarets/margos are a variation... well, megan is a variation of margaret...

kalli is a nickname. people should have full names that can be shortened.

I'm not horribly impressed with the name Brooke. Which might be sad considering my niece (whom I adore) is named Brooke. Though thanks to her middle name, I get away with calling her Bee.

I think Kalli (or Callie) is much better suited for dogs and cats than for people.

Brooke is okay...not my favorite. Please, don't consider other spellings of this.

Megan is decent, as is Meghan. The other spellings are too UNEEK for me.

Brooke- bit tacky & preppy & trendy but i ♥ it. perhaps it falls in the guilty names catagory
Meaghan, Meagan, Meagen. i like normal Megan though.

I actually like Brooke, although that fact never occurred to me until you asked just then.

Megan is derived from Margaret, as far as I know, which has thousands of variants. I know it's 80s and a bit dated, but I don't actually mind it.

I don't like Kalli, and I don't know where it is derived from so I don't know any variants.

Callie - it is very nicknamey. I used to like it as a guilty pleasure name, but thankfully my husband hates it so much that I could never even pretend to entertain it as a name for one of our kids.

I really don't like the name 'Brooke'. No offense to anyone. I know it's a popular name, but I really don't like it. I don't like names created after something in nature.

i.e. Brook, Rainbow, Snow, Summer, etc.
