I don't hate it.

But I don't hate it.

I do that with words too sometimes.
And yeah I wasn't recommending Mayble, I was just saying it could happen...or maybe has happened as a kreaytive twist on Mabel.

Maple for a girl I can handle- it's NMS, but it's not horrible either. It just seems wrong for a boy though.

I think I like it. For a boy or a girl. Or maybe even especially for a boy, just because it's so different. :)

Haha that sounds like how I always say "swip" because my brain can't choose between "swap" and "switch"

Haha yes I do get strange looks and laughs. And also for some reason I often say "orange" when I mean "green" and vice versa. I've always done it. Must have my wires crossed with those two colours or something!

I think it's nice but too feminine for a boy.

There's a wonderful Robert Frost poem about a girl whose mother named her Maple when she was born and the mother was dying.
