Sep. 26th, 2006 09:42 pmThe woman I babysit for was just in Nashville on business and she and her husband took a side trip to Memphis while they were down there. Well, she told me they saw this family with 3 kids... ready for this? The boys' names were Presley and Aaron and the girl's name was Graceland. Poor kids, especially the daughter. =\ It's so sad when people force their obsessions on their children. LOL...

Date: 2006-09-27 02:16 am (UTC)I believe names that parents choose should reflect their relationship, their lives, their passions, themselves. Yeah, it's the kid's name, but they can't choose and it's your kid, and your life, and they are coming to you at a very specific moment in your life (and/or life together) - wherever that may be. I think that the names should be loved, should reflect love.
