Any thoughts on the name Adrienne? Love it or hate it? If so, why?

Also, how feminine-sounding would you consider it to be?

I like it but i dont like the way ppl usually pronounce it. I say it "adree-'n'" but I've heard a lot of ppl say "Adrien" and in that way it seems less feminine to me. But overall I like it.

I really like it. My hubbie doesn't, otherwise it'd be on my list. I pronounce it differently than the male version. More like Aydree-ENN. With more emphasis on the last syllable than the first, unlike the male version.

I love it! My name is Adrianne. Everyone calls me Adrienne though since I don't even know another person who spells it like I do. :)

Love it. One of my best friends is named Adrienne. Some people spell it the masculine way, Adrian, but she rolls her eyes and gets on with it ;)

Very elegant, stylish name.

I like it, but I think Adriana is much more feminine

I'm pretty neutral on it. It's not bad, but nothing I honestly like either. It doesn't seem particularly feminine to me, but I don't see that as a flaw at all.

I think I prefer Adrianna rather than Adrienne, but that's just my opinion. Adrienne to me sounds like to female version of Adrian, and if I were to hang it on a friend of mine called Adrian who is obviously male I would give him the female name Adrienne, to which he would be very annoyed about! *LOL*

I think it's pretty! I probably wouldn't use it, but I like it.

I like Adrian, for a boy. I don't like it for a girl.

I love adrienne for a girl. It was in my top 3 if my son would have been a girl.

I've known more Adrians than Adriennes, so it always sounds more masculine to me.

I have a son in the oven, and that's the name I've picked. So yeah, big supporter. Although I definitely like it better for boys.

I love it. I like Adrienne for a girl, but I LOVE Adrian for a boy. I've met lots of males named Adrian and lots of females named Adrienne. I consider it truly unisex (and I HATE boys names on girls).

it's my friends name, i quite like it. I dont consider it to be that feminine though, which is why it's not higher on my list.

never been a huge fan of the name.. I just don't think it's a pretty name. It's girly enough.. just has never appealed to me
