I know a Meya but her name is pronounced My-ah rather than me-uh (like Mia). I think usually it's a name in it's own right.

I just don't see how you could get the Mia pronuciation out of Meya. Well I guess technically I can, but it is in no way the immediately obvious pronunciation.
