[identity profile] laminy.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
I was reading a news article today about a woman with three children: Rhyan, Evynn, and Emersyn. All girls.

WDYT?

That trend of unnecessary Ys is getting more and more annoying, in my opinion.

I like all of those names, but not spelled that way. Evan, Ryan, and Emerson look and sound just fine with out changing out the vowels for a y. I don't know about them all being as a sibling set either as they sound almost too similar.

I think those are names I'm used to on males, I don't like that they are all basically the same name with the ending sound and they are spelled horribly. LOL.

I love the names. The creative spelling... not so much.

Sounds like she wanted boys, TBH.

I don't mind the names on girls at all, but I'd much rather: Ryan, Evan, Emmerson.
