Kelly Clarkson has given birth to her second child, a son, named Remington Alexander. They're calling him Remy for short. Her first child, born two years ago, is a girl named River Rose

WDYT? I really dislike River Rose. Remington Alexander is fine, but my best friend is named Remy, so now I associate it with girls.

That name sounds very... firearm-y. Will the next kids be named Smith and Wesson?

Remington Alexander is a good name but not my style, as a non-American I dont associate it with guns at all. I studied French so I think of it as being slightly more masculine but I love Remy for both sexes.

River Rose (she said it was family name) with surname Blackstock just doesnt work for me at all too many nouns.

His full name sounds like a snobby rich kid's name, but the nickname Remy helps to alleviate that vibe a little bit.

I really like it. I've only ever heard Remington on boys anyhow. Alexander has been my #1 favorite for soooo long. So, that might be my favorite part. Still don't care for River, even on a girl... but it's okay. The names all flow and go well together.
