Jenna Bush Hager, daughter of 43rd US President George Bush, and her husband Henry Hager have welcomed their second daughter: Poppy Louise. Poppy was apparently a childhood nickname of Jenna's grandfather, George HW Bush.

Their first daughter is Margaret "Mila" Laura.

I really like the name Poppy, and I think it's cute that, besides being a nice name, it's also a way to honour her grandfather.

I think its gorgeous but its a lot more common here, its outside 1000 in US but Poppy is #48 here.
My family uses Pop/Poppy, it would lead to some confusion, but its a nice connection.


I like Margaret and while I like Mila I find it a bit disassociated as a nickname, I suppose her initials are ML but thats not obvious

All the fathers in my family are Poppy. Like my nephew/nieces call their dad Poppy and their grandfather Great Poppy. I find it weird they call that a "nickname" because that's a super popular name for a poppy. lol.
