ever since she was born, I've been waiting to hear what Keira Knightley and her husband James Righton named their daughter. And?

Edie. It's not a name I'm used to hearing, so I'm still trying to figure out if I like it or not. It might be cute!

WDYT?

I've been waiting, too, and thought she might go more classic long name ending in "A"; Victoria, Evangelina, that style. Not a huge fan of Edie, but it's certainly uncommon. At least here in the States. Reminds me a lot of an old lady, though.

In Australia Evie-Eva-Eden-Eve are all in top 100, Evie is #26, I'd say UK is similar.

Edie is a less popular choice but seems to be rising, I know 3 Edie/Eadie's (plus 1 Edith, 1 Edwina, 2 Eden's who use nn Edie).

I think its very cute and spunky, I prefer it as a nickname Edwina would be my pick.

I'm hearing Edie more and more here in the uk! I think it's cute but I don't like any of the long name options for it.
