I've seen that hot list floating around, it seems pretty spot on with Australian trends, a lot more names previous used more in UK and Europe.
...except Declan should be swapped with Theodore on boys list. I've meet/seen Theodore everywhere & a lot of notices.


I do love Abigail and Prudence (because of Charmed). I've always been a bit luke warm about Madeleine, nice, but not sure what it is I usually love French names.

i love the name Declan. And Abigail (Abigayle) is one of my fave names but my ex best friend named her daughter Abby-Anna Lily and idk if i could ever bring myself to use it since i'd want the nn Abby ::shrug:: and it's becoming such a popular name too.

Irish names are great, Declan is taken by my cousin's son he's 8 & never meet another. Not seen any notices for months so I was surprised to see it #2.

I love nn Abby, I've known 3 Abigail/Abby's they're all so lovely and bubbly. I would say it always was popular, or at least well liked but really peaked the last 5yrs.
