They're both horrible, but Gentry is just the worst. It doesn't make for a great name, but if somebody had to use it, it sounds like it would work better on a boy.

Olivia and Lillian aren't too bad together (I personally dislike both names) but the matchy nicknames are too much.

I think matchy nicknames are fine, cute even. Nicknames are the only times matchy names are ok anyway, given names being matchy is where I have a problem. Andpeople seem obsessed with matching names anyway, so the fact that it's just their nicknames isn't a big deal to me.

I like Olivia and Lillian but ya, those nick names are way too close. My goddaughter is Lily and my niece is Olivia - we usually call them Olive and Lil. Or Olivia Bolivia and Lily Chile <3
