out of nowhere at my friend's party he brings up names and he really wants to use family names.

some of his family names are ok. however, i am not a fan of most of the names in my family and i dont want to look favoritist!!!! (like i'm ignoring my family or something)

the only person i'd really like to honor with a name is my grandmother, whose name is Arlene. I was thinking of using Marlene as a mn because it also combines her, my and my mom's mn, which is Marjorie (which i just dont like that much).

I've always had a soft spot for Ava, too. I've also always loved the name Ava Charlotte. Best friend from third grade, and god forbid you seperate the fn and mn. :)
