So my husband was telling me the other night about a friend of his named Stacy Goff. I found out it was a male. I said...why would you name a boy Stacy? And he said...well, that was his middle name. His first name was Jack.

Yes, the parents named this kid Jack Goff.

Anybody else have any like this?

Jack Goff is better than Jack Doff, whom I met in my junior year. He was a senior, though, and changed his last name a few months ago.

I went to highschool with a guy named Stacy and never thought anything of it. But I think the first time I heard the name Stacy was Stacy Keach, the actor. A lot of people probably knew female Stacey's before hearing it as a boys name.

haha this makes me laugh bc when I was pregnant w/my dd, we called her "Broccoli" before we knew if she was a boy or girl. so my friend & I used to joke that that's what I could call the baby: Brock Lee or Brock Leigh (depending, of course, if it was a boy or girl lol).
