I overheard a woman around 28-30 telling her name to a clerk at the bank today:

Gardene. (Gar-deen)

I don't like it. It's the 'guard' sound in it. Sounds really harsh. WDYT?

My mangers name is Gardenia but she goes by Deenie. It's not my favorite either.

I grew up on gardenia way...is never find that as a name but its a beautiful word lol
