Our baby boy is due in about 6 weeks and we don't even have a short list!! Our daughters name is Olivia Soleil so we don't want another popular first name. Our last name is Bennett so names like Benjamin and Elliott are out.

We've been tossing around Harris as a first name. Any thoughts? I also like Gabe but not Gabriel. I normally dislike given names that are nicknames but in this case I'm not bothered by it.

Any name suggestions?? Some family names that would be good second names are: Christopher, William, Norman and Gerard.

I don't like Harris as much as Harrison, you could use Harris's as a nickname. On its' own is sounds too much like harrass for my liking. You could use Harrison Gabe Bennett. Congrats on the baby!

I really like Harris Bennett. :) Harris Gabe feels a bit nickname-y to me, but Harrison Gabe is really handsome. Maybe August, Fitzwilliam, Frederick, Sebastian, Emory, or Seamus as suggestions?

I love one-syllable guys names, and Bennett is an awesome last name.

Wouldn't want Gabe Bennett though because the two B sounds make it weird to say quickly. Just my two cents.

Love all those family middle names! Clayton William Bennett sounds great to me. Also Fletcher William Bennett. Or Thatcher WIlliam Bennett.
