So we have created a short list for Henry Leonard's brother's name. Middle name will probably be either Marr or Melbourne in honour of my husband's grandfathers. Our last name is the same as a guy who had a farm, E-I-E-I-O. :)

Fits our criteria of being traditional, pronounceable in French, and goes with Henry.

George (our current top contender)
Hector
Edmond
Luc/Luke
Edward/Edouard

I confess I'm still a bit disappointed I don't get my little Jacqueline Grace... I guess that will pass.

all are good, solid names. Henry & Hector sibset seem a little close/matching to me. I would lean towards George or Edward to go with Henry.

Luc/Luke is great with that last name to me. George also. I love single-syllable first names for boys.

And two of the same is really fun - it's good to be honest with your feelings, for sure, but you're right it will get better and become a good thing!

It is imperative that he be named Ronald. This is your civic duty.

Luke is my favorite of your choices. Then Hector. I think the other three might seem a bit bland/stuffy with Henry.

I love Luc/Luke and Edmond or Edward/Edouard. I'm not too fond of either George or Hector.

For the middle name, I think Melbourne sounds better with your last name than Marr does.

I like Edmond and Edward the best, and George and Luc/Luke coming in second. They all sound good with the middle name options, too! I kind of dig Melbourne more just because I think it's stately sounding or something. I also think it sounds best with your last name because you don't have a double Ma- sound in the beginning with Melbourne.
