Love it for my friend's son. He's a wonderful kid. We did call him Judey a lot when he was little (couldn't help it the -y ending just happened, he was adorable) and there's a lot of "Hey Jude" in his life of course. Neither of them is a real negative.

I like Jude! I always think of it as short for Judah, but I know several Judes who are just Jude. I imagine you'd get a lot of comments about how close it is to Judas, but whatever.

ooh, i like that a lot! i don't have a middle name at all, except we've considered using my dad's - Conrad - regardless of the first name.
