I grew up knowing a "Jameson" who pronounced it "Jame-uh-son." However, I also met someone who pronounced it "Jame-son."

A childhood friend of my recently had a son she named "Jamison," saying it "Jame-son." But a guest I just had is "Jamison," pronounced "JAM-uh-son."

Does anyone personally know anyone named Jameson or Jamison? How do they say it?

Jamie-son is how I'd say it. I'm from Scotland so it could be an accent thing. Its totally how I'd pronounce the whisky :p

I grew up with one, Jame-uh-son. Sort of crosses between that and Jame-ih-son.
