Aug. 18th, 2013 05:25 pmJust got back home from a baby shower and there were several children there. My roommate and I were excited to go because a classmate would be there who we "keep contact with" through Facebook and we haven't been able to figure out how to pronounce her son's name.
The baby in question is named Bryiss. We'd been thinking that it was a snowflake spelling of Bryce. Nothing could have prepared me to meet "Bry-iss".
The new baby is going to be a boy and Mom, Holly, announced his name: Ryler Corey. Corey is after his father. Ryler *might* be named after dad's best friend who's name is Tyler but who knows.
Other children in attendance (spellings not confirmed):
Lola (5)
Kaitlyn (10)
Danika (4)
Xavier (toddler)
Landon (3)
Andy (full name - 13 mos - parents picked Andy as a gender neutral name because they didn't want to find out the sex)
In sort of related news a girl I know from high school just had her second child. Amber, Bill and big sister Mackenzie "Mack" or "Kennie" welcome new baby brother Caius.
